set to slash its 3G tariff
starting from 1 june 2012
BSNL will offer new 3G Plan
which is competitive BSNL
new 3G plans are as below.
1GB will now be available in
Rs. 151 which will have
validity for 7 days, 1.25 GB in
250 and 2.5 GB in 450 for 30
days.

Karbonn Smart Tab - A5, A7, A9

Karbonn has launched a tablet under its extended brand - Karbonn Smart. The tablet is conveniently called the Karbonn Smart Tab 1 and is launched along with 3 smartphones - Karbonn A9, A7 and A5.
Priced at Rs. 6,990, the Karbonn Smart Tab 1 is powered by a single core 1.2GHz X-Burst processor and has a 7-inch display. The device also features a 2MP front facing camera, HDMI out and expandable storage up to 32GB. The tablet runs on a 3,700-mAh battery and Karbonn claims it can deliver up to 8 hours of video playback and up to 7 hours of Internet browsing.
The device will run on Google Android 4.0.3 ICS and will support3G connectivity via a USB dongle.This seems like a bit of a letdown considering Zync launched the Z999 Plus and iberry launched the AUXUX AX03G that supports 3G via a SIM card.

Zen mobiles has launched its first tablet in the market – Zen Ultratab A100 – a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen tablet loaded with the latest Android ICS OS . It is a powerful performance tablet powered by a 1.2Ghz processor and loaded with 512MB RAM . On connectivity front , the ultratab supports wireless LAN and optional 3G connectivity with external 3G data card support (USB port) . If you do not have WiFi network and still want to connect to the Internet , no worry , it has Ethernet LAN support through microUSB to Ethernet cable . There is not SIM support option , hence you can not use your network operators SIM . The front camera is of good resolution and can be used for video calling (on Wi-Fi) with Skype or GMail or any other voice chat software . On the form factor front , it is quite slim (only 10.5mm thick) and light-weight .
